Wells Fargo $325 Bonus for Checking Acct.

I’m usually just a reader on here, but I wanted to share my experience with the Wells Fargo $325 checking account bonus to help anyone who’s considering or has already signed up.
I opened the account during the first week of May. My first qualifying direct deposit from my employer cleared on May 15th, and I received the $325 bonus today (May 20th). That’s only 5 calendar days / 3 business days after the deposit cleared , much faster than many of the experiences I’ve read.
One thing worth noting: since I signed up online, I was not sure that the bonus was applied to my account. I called Wells Fargo customer service for clarification, but the reps had no additional information beyond what’s already on their website. I ended up finding much better answers on Reddit.
For reference, the offer requires $1,000+ in qualifying direct deposits within the first 90 days. Wells Fargo states you’ll receive the bonus within 30 days of meeting the requirements. A customer service agent told me this could potentially mean waiting up to 120 days total, so I’m very happy it posted so quickly in my case.
