Review: Marstoy Nebulon-B Frigate

This has always been a dream Star Wars set of mine, and given its exclusivity, it’s remained a dream until now. Recently found it on Marstoy for $25, shipping included. Knew I had to snag it immediately.

I’ve read a lot about Marstoy but this was my first buy from them. I was pleasantly surprised that this arrived 8 days after order placement, especially after hearing that Marstoy usually takes 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Came in one, unsorted bag. Not terrible considering it’s a relatively smaller set. Also no instructions, but I was able to follow along with Lego’s official ones no problem.

While the brick quality is basically the same as Lego’s, there were indeed several types of pieces that were entirely missing from the set. These were luckily all greebly pieces that I was able to compensate for (the biggest offender I think were the grey teeth pieces of which there must have been around 10, which I only had black to replace with), but still noteworthy and did bring the build experience down somewhat.

But overall, I absolutely love the look of the model, even moreso when stepping further back. Happy to have it, especially for this price! 8/10 experience
