Packet loss issue while gaming with Xfinity
I would like to preface this by stating I have no idea how internet works and don't even full understand what packet loss is itself, but... I have been experiencing packet loss issues on my xfinity home internet (with their router). I just recently got back into online gaming and the lag ever 2 minutes or so makes it quite frustrating almost to the point where I am getting logged out of steam mid game due to an outage. It is confusing to me because the wifi speed tests I run always come back with great results but my internet seems to fail under real load.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated, I have a better router that I would like to set up (NETGEAR nighthawk) but unsure if that would fix the issue and it is a hassle to sync all devices to it. Thanks.
