Question regarding medical and biometrics.
Hi everyone,
I had applied for a Canadian study permit in 2025, but unfortunately my application was refused. The refusal was not related to medicals, biometrics, criminality, or misrepresentation. It was mainly due to concerns regarding my study plan and purpose of visit.
At that time, I had already completed my biometrics and medical exam around May/June 2025. I never travelled to Canada and remained outside Canada (outland applicant).
Now I’m planning to apply for Express Entry under the French category (Outland) in July 2026, and I wanted to ask:
Can my previous biometrics from 2025 still be reused for my PR application in 2026?
Will my old medical exam still be valid, or would I most likely need to do a new medical?
If anyone has gone through something similar or has experience with reused biometrics/medicals after a refusal, I’d really appreciate your advice.
