So long story short im dumb and accidentally hit the shifter into the manual sport mode and redlined the engine and then got a code that said limited engine and steering power so I pulled over right away shut it off and then turned it back on and the message was gone and the trucks been running fine since. I’m thinking it just went into limp mode as a precaution but I’m wondering if I should reach out to the dealer. Tundra is a 23’ and it’s on the recall list but the dealer hasn’t called me to replace it yet so it could just be coincidence but figured I’d see what yall think.
