In long term partnership with a kid, feel so incredibly lonely.
Kiddo is 5, I felt cast aside by my partner since pregnancy. He’s not bad, truly no reason to run screaming. But I never really feel fulfilled emotionally. He just wasn’t present when I really needed him. I guess I’m looking for someone to tell me that maybe my expectations are too high, I’m too fickle, or… something?
