Legion Go 2 Power Adapter Died - Service Experience Was Great

I feel a lot of people tend to shed more light on negative experiences so I wanted to share a positive one.

I purchased my Legion Go 2 (z2e) back at launch. Several weeks ago my power adapter complete stopped functioning. Nothing wrong with the device at all, just the plug stopped providing power. It was completely dead. My other 65w and 100w adapters work just fine to power/charge it.

Since it is still under warranty, I contacted their premium care number. The agent was friendly and asked me some basic troubleshooting questions to confirm the charger is non-functional. They sent me an email to which I had to reply with pictures of the plug and its information printed on it. All of this was done while on the phone with the agent. Once she received the photos she processed a replacement.

She said it would be 3 business days (I am in the US). She said the replacement adapter may or may not arrive with a return shipping label. She said if it does, just use it to return the faulty adapter in the same box with included label and if it does not, to just dispose of the plug myself.

This was my first experience with Lenovo support. I generally always buy the protection plans from Best Buy or Micro Center and just swap items out at the store if I run into issues, but since this was just the plug I did not want to have to put the stock SSD back in it and return the whole thing (and potentially be without my device if a it was not in stock).

Now I just wait for the new plug to be delivered. Overall a good experience.
