Nissan app saying car is unlocked or opened when it’s not. I got a solution to fix
Purchased a Nissan Sentra SR 2026 and it comes with the “My Nissan” App features, the last two days I’ve been having issues with the app telling me the car’s passenger door was opened when it really wasn’t, which was confusing, came to the conclusion that the app was glitching out, and I tried everything even went to the car and locked everything manually, tried to refresh the app but nothing seemed to work.
Solution:
Log out of My Nissan app uninstall the My Nissan app through the Google play store or the App Store, but be sure you logged out before uninstalling.
Once you install the app again, unlock the car manually with the key fob & make sure all the doors are closed correctly, now you lock the car through the My Nissan app and refresh it and it should work and remove the alert that’s glitching through the My Nissan App, I hope this helps 🐐
