DWP Caseworker TL vs Home Office Caseworker/Manager
I am throwing this question out here for a friend who has asked which they should go for.
They have been offered roles in both departments and have no clue which they would prefer. I think DWP would be beneficial because they know it better having applied for the DWP role as an AO on service delivery, they were hopeful of getting further away from front facing work which they have managed to do with the Caseworker TL role.
They have said they would like to progress over time to HEO but have no clue which department has a better reputation for supporting progression. As far as behaviours go I’m sure a TL and manager would have similar responsibilities.
What do you guys think?
