I collected over 11,000 bluegrass events so far this year. What stats would you want to see?
Hey folks, I've spent the past year collecting bluegrass events for GrassGigs, and I now have data on more than 11,000 events.
I'm putting together charts and maps, but I'm curious, if you were looking at a dataset like this, what statistics or maps would you want to see?
Things like, busiest states, busiest weekends, festival trends, that kinda thing. I'd love ideas before I dive deeper.

Looking for a directory of West Virginia bluegrass bands
I'm working on filling out the West Virginia in GrassGigs and I'm looking for a good directory or list of active bluegrass bands in WV.
Does anyone know of a website, association, festival, Facebook group, or other resource that has a list of WV bluegrass bands?
I'm trying to find as many of the active bands as possible.
If yall know some band names that are actively touring from West Virginia that would be super helpful.

The numbers are in for Q2. Bands that performed in the most states.
The stats for this quarter are in, and here is an interesting list.
AKUS has performed in the most states followed closely by Magoo and MGU.
These bands are putting in some miles!

Trying to track active touring bluegrass bands. Who am I missing?

I’ve been tracking live bluegrass events and touring bands over the past several months and there are probably a lot of active bands I’m still missing.
Especially:
regional touring bands
younger/newer groups
bands playing festivals but not getting talked about nationally
Who should absolutely be on the radar right now?
Bonus points if they’re touring heavily this year.
