I’m in desperate need of YOUR help😭
I was attempting to move my ACNH account back over to our original switch so my fiancé could still play his game while I do my thing. We had moved the whole system over to the switch 2 awhile ago, I hadn’t once played any old games since the move. So I put it (physical copy) in the original switch to make sure it would start up a new game not my current island. Sure enough. Move over to the switch 2, put the cartridge in and fired it up. Answered the prompts, it was my island and that it was my character thinking this was necessary. Downloaded the official transfer tool on both devices. It wouldn’t move over, original switch gave an error. Troubleshooting on my own for a good while. Looked it up and followed what I believed to be a solid post here on Reddit on how to combat the error. It said I needed to delete the save data on the switch 2 and then it would transfer over. There was so many people this post helped (and no blame on the poster) I was just rushing myself in order to play the game, no one to blame but myself
My dear reader if you made it this far, IVE FUCKED UP. I can’t get either switch to load MY acnh island. The original switch still has the data. But I fear it’s all gone forever. I’ll just stop forever. I’ll never play again. I won’t recover from this emotional as silly as that may be. I had the perfect island and I can’t stand the idea of starting over. Truly ANY help would be amazing, I’m sad and overwhelmed at this point. I just wanted to play on my island again. TYIA
