They're in different cages ofc btw :) can't wait until guava is old enough for us to introduce them with supervision

Hey all. I finally got my first job, and I've been using my paycheck to spoil my boys a little. I first changed all their perches for wooden ones and bought them platforms and new bowls, but now i want to change their cage.

Issue is. I don't know if I'm just in a bad spot (being in brazil) and that contributes to not finding appropriately sized cages, but i REALLY cannot find cages that are the right size.

When i find a cage that is a good size, the bar spacing is too big and unsafe for a tiel. I'd love to give them a mansion but also keep in mind my monthly salary is equivalent to ~100 dollars (yay), and i still have to pay for my own stuff like school lunch.

A bit of a rant, but i hate how many cages are called "luxury" cages when they don't even hit the minimum requirement. Luxury means that it should accommodate them properly, not be expensive and still feel like a microwave.

No idea what could be causing this smell. Ever since i brought him home he's had this slightly fart smell to him, he's in a mix of pellets & seeds diet, droppings look okay and i clean the cage often (so much my other male does not have this smell). I can include pictures of droppings on replies if needed.

Is he just naturally stinky?? I wonder if it could be bad higiene, i help him preen himself and the vent isn't dirty. Haven't gotten him to fully bathe, he just sits inside the water dish and is scared of the mist bottle so i don't spray him. Something tells me the smell could have lingered, but it doesn't make sense that it would linger for this long

It's his entire body that smells slightly like rotten egg. Very active boy, i just don't have the money right now to bring him to a vet to ask if my son needs better deodorant (dealing with my own health issues has left me with only grocery money right now.)

Edit: additionally, the smell isn't strong, it's faint enough that i only notice it when i go up to him and sniff him, but it's still an unpleasant smell. I don't know if it's stronger on his breath, it's just his whole body.

I mean, yes. She's showing cleavage. She's showing hip. But we also have Summer Maruzensky that arguably shows more. In my personal opinion her second design was my favorite iteration of her, she looks adorable.

Sorry, it's 4 am and i feel extremely vulnerable right now thinking about my babies...

I love both my sons equally, but while my older tiel keeps mostly to himself, my little banana is the complete opposite

He runs around in his cage squeaking when he sees me come into view, he preens me, he asks for head scratches and even flies towards me unprompted. When i was in university and they were with my mom, he'd get all excited hearing my voice in the phone.

Even in car rides while my other pets sometimes sleep or play with their toys to pass time, he stays the entire ride turned towards me just looking at me, trying to reach out of the carrier to play with my hands. It's like I'm his entire world, and he is my sunshine. I've never felt this much affection from a pet before, and it really brings me to tears how something so little can have so much love to give.
