Methane biofilter

This could be a biological battery at methane producing sites where the methane is capturable.

What if you made a system that used methantrophic bacteria with algae in an initial section that lead to a section with plants (potentially food producing plants, maybe covered also in methantrophic bacteria), converting the initial methane into CO2 then O2? Then a section that digests the produced excess biomass with fungi creating soil.

Creating energy from tidal change

I have thought of an idea that I would love to ask how feasible it is.

The concept rests on the fact that water pressure would overcome air pressure.

You would have a system that is locked in heightwise, to allow for tidal flow into the system.

This water would run through the system through turbines and generate electricity and exit through the air pocket at the bottom of the system.

Gravity pump

What if you created a system called a press, that uses many people carrying small weights to build up a large amount of weight on a platform. The platforms would be lightweight but strong and locked in at the top of the system then released once the max weight is executed to create energy by pressing down over the height of the system. It could rotate if that was more optimal. It could be lifted up manually somehow or use solar or gas or the energy from presses in parallel to do the lifting of the platform. Have the potential solar panels be over a steady minimally tiring incline ramp where people would bring the weights to the platform and the unloading of the platforms be on a steady decline that lead to the entrance of the ramp so carts can be used. The loading of the platforms could be a chain of people passing weights on stairs, or the individuals brining the weight up themselves up the ramp or any other ways people could productively bring the weights up to height. For example a segmented tray locking system using levers that only requires the weight to be lifted a small distance at a time and is locked in progressively.

Humanity has to face the fact that we are going to run out of fuel at some point, this would be something that could run past that point and generate energy wherever one of these structures is built. They would have to be large and require a rotation of people cycling through its operation. Long term it could people of a certain age and physical prowess that would be heavily encouraged to participate. It could be a symbol of health, be general exercise and be a long-standing potentially Olympic tradition.
