Anyone who has car insurance with GEICO needs to be aware of their “Mechanical Breakdown Coverage” addition. This coverage is automatically added when you insure a car that is two years old or less. In my case, I was not told about they were adding this coverage to the policy when I replaced an older car. When I called, the agent immediately removed it but if l had not noticed it and not called, ai would be paying it for two years. Very underhanded in my opinion.
