So about a month ago I obtained a non work injury that required me to have knee surgery. Unfortunately, I haven’t been at my job long enough to even qualify for FMLA. My unpaid leave of absence ends tomorrow. They’re trying to get me to resign stating that if I resign- I will still qualify for unemployment because it will be for medical reasons. My question is should I let them terminate me or should I resign?
