Just moved into a new house and have this pear tree in the back. Can anyone help me identify the species (and if something is wrong with it)?

Bought a new house and it has a massive pear tree in the back yard. I need some help figuring out what type it is. Also, it’s covered in clumps of dead leaves, you can see a cluster in one of the pictures. Some googling told me it could be fireblight, can anyone confirm? I’m wanting to get into gardening and I’m trying to identify all the plants and trees on my property so I know how to take care of them. Any advice or suggestions is appreciated!

Edit: I’m actually not even 100% certain it’s a pear tree, given the pits I’ve found all underneath it. Could it possibly be a peach tree?
