Maserati Grecale Modena Review: Premium Price, Disappointing Quality

My ownership experience with the Maserati Grecale Modena has been extremely disappointing, and I feel it is important to share it for anyone considering purchasing this vehicle.
I purchased my Maserati Grecale Modena in February 2023 for approximately €92,000 and have exclusively serviced it through Maserati / Al Tayer Motors in Dubai. The vehicle currently has only 25,000 km.
For a luxury SUV in this price range, I expected premium build quality, reliability, and durability. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite.
The first major issue was with the air-conditioning system, which started developing problems after only a couple of years of ownership.
More concerning is the apparent deterioration of the vehicle’s interior and trim components. The interior door handle trim detached and fell off during normal use. Although it was eventually replaced, it took almost two months for the required part to arrive.
More recently, parts in the trunk area have started coming loose one after another. Screws and fittings have fallen out, requiring replacement. I was informed that the screws were not covered under warranty and had to be paid for separately despite the vehicle being relatively new and fully maintained through the authorized Maserati network. The replacement process itself took approximately three weeks because the parts had to be ordered.
My concern is not only the cost of the repairs but the overall quality and durability of a vehicle positioned as a premium luxury product. At just 25,000 km, I would not expect trim pieces, fittings, and basic components to start failing.
I would like to acknowledge that Al Tayer Motors did not refuse service and handled the repairs; however, the frequency of issues, the lengthy waiting times for parts, and the quality concerns have significantly affected my confidence in the vehicle.
Based on my personal experience, I would not purchase another Maserati Grecale and would encourage prospective buyers to thoroughly research long-term ownership experiences before making a decision.
