The little one is already thinking about the next meal.
She's an adopted, bottle-fed little girl, a few months old by the stripes. She likes to bounce around and to meet new people. And to play with beach balls.
^(The feeding bottle on her thought bubble does look a bit fucked up.)
Friendly, friendly Yulpas for us to cherish.
Just got this, i've got no base for it and how would I go about testing it?
Thank you for your attention.

Today, I decided to turn this into a shitpost.
ChampionOfLife has bleated:
They are very cute and cuddly and need a new home.
[Video transcript start: be-free-our-children.mp6]
The video starts in shaky cam as the cameraman seemingly struggled to keep a still frame. There are a lot of meowing, chirping and purring sounds among various voices.
"Bubbles! Can you please get off Flower Burst?" a Venlil said "Kids are gonna watch this!"
The camera seemingly falls to the ground and the video file cuts.
The video feed resumes, this time more stable.
The frame is filled with several furred creatures, some of whom had flared frills and were standing on their hindlegs, their chatter almost deafening, permeating the background audio for the rest of the video.
"Salutations, MyHerd!" came the voice of a female Yulpa, her voice clearly straining as she tries rising above the hensas.
"We hope you're faring as well as we are!" a second Yulpa voice came up, a male this time.
"Hi!" a young Yulpa hopped up into view, the camera following them as they sunk back into the mass of hensas clustering around them.
The camera then turned until a Yotul family came into view "We have received news that Leirn is free from the Federation's claws!" the Yotul woman said.
The camera then turned towards the Yulpa couple "And thus we contacted the UN." the Yulpa woman said.
"And while a proper response comes, we decided to advertise!" the Yulp man continued.
The camera once again turned towards the Yorul family "We have a sizeable and healthy population of friendly and frankly quite demanding hensas."
"Almost as demanding as our joeys." the Yotul's partner looked at their youngsters.
"Unfortunately, conditions are getting a bit crowded." the Yotul lady said as the camera panned over the sea of hensas.
"And thus we are preparing to re-home these wonderful beings!" one of the older Yotul youngsters said.
The camera turned back to the Yulpa couple "Now, while the UN crawls into action, we would like to hear your opinions and questions!"
"Bye! See you in the comments!" everyone present said as the camera panned around, finishing with it turning towards its Venlil operator.
Glory to Leirn!
(The post continues with an anthem from a Leirnian nation.)
SirSacrifices-a-lot bleated:
Hello people of MyHerd! It's me, Gerretle, your friendly neighbourhood Yulpa. During all of my time on Grenelka or even Green Haven, I've never imagined that Humans would not just come back from their supposed death, but also start conquering Federation worlds and somehow survive an extermination fleet. Sure, it was with the help of the Arxur, but they got away. And, now, for some reason, one of them ended up my neighbour.
Just one in the whole colony. Yes, one.
I was sure no-one would miss him, so I decided to study him in my free time to see if he was a worthy sacrifice, which was made easier by the fact that my line of work often took me past where he was working: anywhere trash was deposited by the brave citizens of Green Haven. He worked as a trash collector.
I was stumped: why would a predator of all creatures choose to pick up trash? He didn't, he picks up trash, because no-one else would take him. But I could take him to my altar, if he proved himself a worthy offering.
He didn't.
What happened? A running Sivkit tripped and fell, leaving a bloody skid mark on the pavement. And the moment, I thought I'd see a human in action, everyone did. And when the human approached the profusely bleeding prey, he just up and fainted.
What? How? Why?
I had to get answers, so I approached the scene and carefully dislodged the Sivkit from under the human, who'd broken his nose, and started asking questions, to which the answer was: blood makes him faint.
BLOOD MAKES HIM FAINT! HOW & WHY?!
I'm not angry. Just disappointed.
I know humans don't eat only flesh, but they have to do it every once in a while, right? Now, how does he do it if blood makes him faint? Does someone just suck all the blood from the carcass before giving it to him? If that's so, then how is he going to eat all alone? Do I have to feed him now?
Why do I just feel sorry for him all of the sudden? What should I do now?
May the Spirit of Life bless you. xoxo
This is a crossover with the game "Fermi Paradox", where I will take some artistic liberties with the species therein.
It all starts with a Krakotl colonisation fleet...«Prev | First | Next»
Imagine, if you will, a reverse Fermi Paradox, wherein the question is: "How the fuck are they still alive?!"

There have only been two instances of predatory species achieving anything resembling sapience.
The Arxur were a grisly first example: violent, bloodthirsty reptiles who took joy in killing each other, their world had been plunged in a massive bloodbath of a war for Inatala knows how long. When we saw them in such a state, we made a grave mistake: by taking pity on them and offering to help them, providing medicine and technology their primitive, blood-drunk minds could not possibly conceive, we unwittingly unleashed their terrible bloodlust upon the galaxy, where they kill, enslave and devour us indiscriminately, finding joy in our fear and agony.
The second were an equally violent species: humans. When we discovered them, we swore to never allow another predator species loose on the galaxy and thus we began preparations to exterminate them, to avoid another mistake, another tragedy. But it seems Inatala intervened first as a series of nuclear blasts on the surface of their planet indicated their self-annihilation, the fate which would befall the Arxur if it wasn't for our misplaced empathy and the inevitable fate of any other sapient predator Maltos decides to inflict upon Inatala's creation.
Despite the demise of those filthy apes, the ever present threat of predation remains unabated, driving many to desperation and many more to do something greater than themselves instead of cowering like Venlil: those who saw knowledge as the greatest weapon dedicated their lives to teaching the ignorant, the primitive and the lost as it was our burden to guide all to Inatala's light; those who sought more direct action turned towards the cold steel of war, bringing divine judgement by wielding flamethrowers as exterminators or embarking on the great warships of our navy; then there are those like me.
I made it my grand purpose to spread the light of Inatala across the cosmos, years of hard study, metaphorical blood and very real tears culminated in my inevitable graduation into the highly acclaimed Krakotl Alliance Colonial Expansion Initiative(KACEI), a government program whose purpose is, in concert with the Aafa Astronomical Institute, to search for new planets to settle in. To spread the Federation's civilising light far and wide.
It was my hard work, intense dedication and sharp intellect which took me through many prestigious academies in both Aafa and Nishtal, concluding with me being selected for this mission in name of Krakotl Alliance, glorious protectors of the herd, embarking in an Alliance made fleet and boldly go where no man has ever gone before.
From there, our mission was so simple even a Yotul could comprehend it: lead the colonisation fleet to a habitable world found by the Aafa Astronomical Institute, their only contribution.
We departed from Nishtal with great fanfare, my humble speech broadcast across Nishtal and beyond, a glorious prelude to our great journey.
A journey which has been quite mild so far, almost disappointingly so. Subspace disturbances aside, this journey has been quite agreeable, with our scientists investigating some anomalies, which I assured them wouldn't impact our mission, for Inatala wouldn't let it. We would reach our destination, come Hell or high water.
We were nearing our destination, when our science officer, a Farsul by the name of Gimchi approached me, holopad in hand and a look of uncertainty to his body.
I turned away from the console without leaving the perch "What troubles you?"
"We have thoroughly analysed the disturbances and we've concluded that this is the result of activity from a technologically advanced civilisation. We have triple- and sometimes even quadruple-checking the data, but there is no better explanation."
Excitement swelled in my heart and my eyes grew wider than dinner plates at the thought of meeting another advanced society "This is-"
Gimchi raised a hand "Permission to speak?" I tossed my beak up to grant permission "I recommend you to temper your expectations."
"Why?" I almost chuckled "We found new people to bring into our great herd!" I said, almost shouting "People we don't even need to go through the trouble of uplifting them! Furthermore, it's not like predators would even able to leave their planet unaided, right?" I waved a wing dismissively at my last statement.
"Please, listen." he looked around, making me notice the looks people were giving me and the rising noise of conversations my outburst undoubtedly caused "Your optimism may be commendable," he raised his voice, not at me, but at the crew "but the unknown offers many risks." he paused, his ears scanning our surroundings "Risks like predator disease."
"Surely, a sufficiently advanced society would have measures against predator disease."
"Maybe." he bit his lower lip "Maybe not." I tilted my head quizzically "Call me cowardly, but you know how the Yotul still stubbornly hold on to those hensa predators? Now imagine them with FTL capabilities. Even if they're not being parasitised by nonsapient predators, predator disease is insidious and could still be running rampant among them. That is if this isn't a novel natural phenomenon." he sounded more upbeat with the last statement.
'Killjoy.' I thought to myself, before sighing.
"ETA: [forty-seven minutes]." an artificial voice sounded over the PA system.
I thought about what was said "I have a mission..." I muttered to myself before turning to Gimchi "We shall exercise caution, then."
"Shields up, weapons down." he patted my shoulder.
"Have you notified the KACEI?"
"I have sent the research data packets as protocol dictates, why?"
This complicates things...
"Hold off reporting anything concrete to the KACEI until we ascertain the true nature of these anomalies." I sensed some apprehension from my science officer "Natural phenomenon or unnatural occurrence, this is unique and its reveal ought to be a momentous occasion for both ends."
Gimchi opened his mouth to speak before falling into thought, not fully convinced "Yes sir."
'I ought to put a pin on this.' I thought to myself "You make the excuses, I make the presentation." we looked at each other for a while before he agreed, no doubt thinking about protocol. I formally dismissed him to look back at the console as he walked back to his room. We were oh so close to our destination, a whole world of brand new possibilities. No! A whole civilisation of brand new possibilities! Ready for me to take them! Ready for me to make history!
With Gimchi gone, I messaged my communications officer, Katshan, a fellow Krakotl whose loyalty has shown through our journey.Good tidings. What do you need? he answered.Monitor all communications pertaining to Science officer Gimchi. Notify me whenever he tries sending anything KACEI related out of the ship.It shall be done. and with that, I was back at my post.
As we closed in on our destination, people started growing more restless, not out of predator disease, but genuine excitement at the conclusion of our mission. From my console, I could see preparations being made all over the ship, nearly countless status messages washing over the screen as the crew went into a frenzy, making sure everything was in its place, so that us prey can be in our rightful place.
[forty-three minutes later]
The wait wasn't long, but my anticipation made it feel like it was ten times longer than reality as the moments lingered, refused to pass by, seemingly bent on keeping us away from our destination, bent on keeping me away from the moment I worked for so long and hard, it was as if Maltos itself had a vested interest in my failure.
But Inatala wouldn't let me fail, she wouldn't let us fail. Not when we're so close.
...
The entire vessel shuddered as we returned to standard reality, celebrations erupted all across the ship, someone hugged me, I would
never know who, the scientists immediately returned to their posts, turning our scanners towards every direction possible.
And now, the moment of truth...We're not alone! Gimchi messaged me.
Here, we can observe a pair of yulpa bulls vying for dominance in their natural environment.
As you can see, their tongue plays a big part in dominance displays.
Imagine getting double tapped with wet Willies. It's over.
Imagine being slapped by two warm, grabby, wiggly & wet sausages.
This is what goes on in my head whenever I'm reading a fic and the dynamic duo appears.
Aggro pincushion incoming!
Coloured version of this.
Here you have a gojid teaching basic stuff to some primitives they just found. In this case, my Orion's Arm OC, Shesh'hakar, who's nearly five millennia old.
Meanwhile a drezjin is tilting their head to the side in order to look up in awe at the big guy and a venlil is trying not to faint, either due to Shesh'hakar's size or to seeing something completely mundane(in the Terragen Sphere).
Somewhat related to Crossed Signals.
As soon as the people of Serina started making themselves known to the Federation, the Arxur decided that they'd have piece of these new preyfolk and a small fleet was sent on a mission to find one of their border stations and let them know who the galaxy's apex predators are.
Upon arrival, instead of a station full of yummy prey, they found a motherf☆ing spherical space tree supposedly full of yummy prey.
A drawing for my Warped Mirro AU depicting the current political situation, which can be best described as a blunt rotation from Bizarro World.

Follow up to this post.
For context, this is the product of a discussion with u/Loud-Drama-1092 we had a few weeks ago about a crossover between the Scorch Directive AU and two AUs of the World of Serina project by Sheather888 on DeviantArt.
^(I will not post a link, because Reddit will nuke this post if I do.)
Here you can observe two confrontations between a Worldcrafter and an Atrox human, each with a different outcome.
Worldcrafters are evil versions of the Woodcrafters, who not only kept their anti-predator ideology, but survived extinction and spread across the stars, becoming more predatory in the process, despite being herbivorous, with features such as forward set eyes.
They are basically if the Qu were furry and had an ideology akin to the Federation's.
