If you ever paid attention to biology class, you well know that we love food that contains sugar and fat because they are the primary source of energy for us and hence our body has a tasteful reaction to them. But an Immortal and self-sustaining being like Neuvillette logically wouldn't have any appeal towards them. Which is why he doesn't like them. In the test logs of Byakuyakoku collection from Enkonomiya, Vishaps seem to have foreseen that the Hydro Sovereign will be reincarnated as a human in the future. And they also seem to perceive as something transgrassive and/or unacceptable, as the quote "We must not let that happen in Enkonomiya."

My theory is that Unlike Archons, Sovereign possesses Absolute immortality, when they die, they get reincarniated in a different form and a different time. However, during their ancient times, Teyvat was populated by Dragons, and now that Teyvat is the current homeplanet of humans, their body (or remained dragonhood) seem to adopt the current ecology of the world, makin them reborn as humans.

Which leads me to believe that other deceased sovereigns are going to be reborn as well. Maybe they are already reincarnated just like Neuvillette and living a life in any of the Nations, and it being unbeknown to them and anyone that they are dragons, who knows?

We cannot expect the Prime universe to get a sequel or a continuity. Omniverse ended over a decade ago. The audience have Grown up, animation and storytelling wouldn't meet today's standarts and expectations. They cannot just continue an initially children's media with a much more different and older target audience.

I still think that New Dynamite Comics are doing a great job. The first issue sold 112.000 copies in it's first release. And that's half of Absolute Batman #1's first release sales I mind you. I do not want or mean you to see comics as instant-adaptation-cards but it's still a itty bitty chance for Warner Bros to see Ben 10 has some pretty potential if they use the IP right.
