Location: The lowest, most malice/gloom-saturated section beneath Hyrule Castle — perhaps in a sealed-off chamber directly below the Throne Room or the Sanctum, where the castle sank during the Upheaval
find me done with this version of the malice Blade took longer than I wanted it to, but I like the design better now really mirrors the master sword now and how stupid some people are for trying to seal it away instead approving it but I guess some people don’t learn the first time they try to replicate the power of the goddess
LORE: everyone always after the calamity became peaceful how incorrect that was in the whole kingdom was in ruins entire communities either destroyed or completely annihilated. The economy was in shambles most people barely acknowledge. The kingdom is an actual thing And THIS SWORD was not helping at all, despite being by the hero of the kingdom the fear and uncertainty of the blades very nature made people want to avoid anything to do fully working with the Zelda as a result some be for it to be destroyed others call for it to be a museum or somewhere where public can’t easily access it however there was a group weighed both the group that study and approve upon the sword, and eventually when link was made to give up the blade for the sake of the kingdom, he gave it to the people that wanted to research it believing that would it be the most responsible for the blade agreed in a hurry, trying to restore order in authority without proper supervision of the group’s nature
the Malice blade was but improved upon changing design to resemble master sword and grew a ritual of denial, abundance malice under the excuse of studying the substance only improve the blades power but also making it more deadly to anyone who uses it, sipping away, life force more quickly, and even reports of it, trying to drink the blood of certain people unlike last time they didn’t stop when the incident came they had false rumors spread by the panicking public and further away from any oversight of the project, encouraging her to focus on getting rid of any rogue guardians or other outliers
The project was complete, and the malice blade was fully finished By the time the project was “completed,” the Malice Blade had evolved into something far worse than the original forbidden weapon. It now looked like a dark, perfected counterpart to the Master Sword — beautiful, elegant, and utterly lethal.
And once again, Hyrule had repeated the same mistake: trying to harness and “improve” the very power that had nearly destroyed them.
New abilities:
1. Gloom Toll Enhancement (stronger version of life drain)
Every successful hit now applies a stacking Gloom effect on the user (temporary max heart reduction, like real gloom weapons in TOTK). At high stacks, it can temporarily turn hearts into gloom hearts. This makes it much deadlier than the original.
2. Malice Overcharge / Bloodlust Mode
When the blade has absorbed enough malice/gloom (or after draining the user significantly), it enters a temporary “overcharge” state: massive damage boost + even higher speed, plus red malice tendrils that extend attacks (similar to gloom hands or phantom attacks).
3. Ritual of Denial / Corrupted Sword Beam
A dark mirror to the Master Sword’s beam. At full power/low hearts, Link can fire a red-black malice beam that drains enemy health on hit and returns some life force to the blade (but still costs the user a little).
4. Adaptive Corruption
The blade slowly “learns” from what it fights. After killing certain enemies (especially guardians, constructs, or gloom-based foes), it gains minor temporary bonuses ( extra damage vs. ancient tech, or gloom resistance for the user for a short time).
5. Passive Malice Aura (new from the “improved” design)
While equipped, it passively emits a small malice field that weakens nearby enemies’ defenses or slowly corrupts the environment (good for clearing gloom patches, bad because it can attract stronger monsters).
last passive ability. Whispering Seduction — Occasionally whispers temptations or visions to the wielder Whispers to get louder lower Health you are
But yeah, I’m done with this blade . Hope y’all like it.
