I bought this tree last year in June when the tree nursery went out of business it looked pretty much like this but less leaves (paid $50). I figured for that cheap I would plant and see if it survives. This year it’s doing really well. Super healthy green leaves and seems to be thriving. Should I trim the bare branches? Or should I wait and see if it will fill out in a year or two? It’s a 3 inch caliper and I’ve been giving it root stimulator and tons of water.
