Finding a degree apprenticeship in North West England
I'm a 17 year old who has just finished college, and i have been struggling to find a degree apprenticeship. I've been applying since last year, certain that I do not want any part of Uni, and so far I have had no successful applications. This is starting to take a hit on me because now that I have completed college and summer is starting, it feels like I'm wasting my time doing nothing daily. Not only apprenticeships but also part-time jobs have been unsuccessful. It feels like connections is the only way to find a job, which is something I don't have. I have done 2 BTEC courses in college, Business Certificate (Merit) and ICT Diploma (DD) and also an Internship for 2 weeks in a real estate office in Malta. At first it was just IT-related apprenticeships I was applying for, but the constant rejections and being unsure about my future has me stuck applying for any Level 2 or 3 apprenticeship. I was considering a marketing apprenticeship or even an AI based one. My relative has also been warning me because her job is (basically) being taken because of the high use of AI in her company and AI seems to be on the rise. However it feels as though I'm just stuck here, applying daily and still no positive responses. As I'm 17 and don't have an income life gets hard because I have to think deeply before purchases, even minor ones and the stress has been a-lot, especially burdening my older sister whenever I want to buy something. Anyone with experience or someone that has landed an apprenticeship successfully I would love any advice. I have also uploaded my current updated CV and any improvement recommendations would be highly appreciated.
