How to balance EVERYTHING?
Hey everyone! I’m new to being a “hybrid athlete.” I’ve worked out my whole life and have liked traditional gym since I was 15, but never consistently — the longest streak I’ve had is 7 months. That said, I’ve done soccer, running (for stress relief), American football, swimming, skating, CrossFit, etc.
Right now I’m really into tennis (out of pure passion), Hyrox, calisthenics / functional training classes, and running to cover the cardio side — been at it for 5 months now (started late December). My current challenge is getting my body used to this training volume and progressing in each discipline, since I’d like to compete in all 3, but in a sustainable way.
Since I’ve got years in the gym under my belt, even though I don’t count macros, I know how to eat for what my body needs, and I know sleep is huge along with other factors. BTW I’m 26. Any advice????
