Wanting to switch from ma103 to ma129

Im an incoming BBA student. And yeah I know its a little late but back in June-July, I wanted to minor in math/Fin-math, since I was interested and since I was somewhat good at math, so I ended up taking ma103, but after some reflecting, I understood that I really don't wanna put myself through a harder calc course and I wanna maximize my chances of getting a higher gpa/co-op lmao.

I wanted to switch but all the ma129 classes/labs are full (which im not surprised by)

So how do I go on about this? Am I just stuck taking ma103?

Thanks

Is the workload manageable? / Is it even worth it? (Need advice)

Hey, I'm an incoming first-year BBA student and was hoping to get some advice from current BBA students (or anyone familiar with these courses).

So far, I'm planning to take all the first-year courses, and these are the electives I'm considering:

MA103 (ik this isn't technially an elective) , CP104, MA170, ES110, and one other course (either a bird course or MA122)

I enjoyed math in high school and did pretty well in Advanced Functions and Calc. I applied to fin math dd, but didn't get in, so I still want to continue learning math and programming, and I might even consider minoring in math.

So I wanted to know:
- Is the workload manageable alongside the BBA courses?
- For those who have minored in Math (or considered it), was it worth it, or did it end up being a hassle?
- Since I will be applying to co-op, would taking these courses help me stand out, or would they just tank my GPA and outweigh the benefits?
- I'm also interested in finance, and I might pursue trading-related roles or quantitative finance roles in the future (not necessarily quant trading). Would a Math minor be valuable for that path?

I know I'm thinking pretty far ahead into the future, but I'd appreciate any advice/insights from people who have been in a similar position.

Thanks in advance!

I would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped me in this journey.
