I just recently got my first teaching job while doing a transition to teaching program and am wondering what are some things that I should know?
(Advice, items to get, questions I should be asking, etc…) I know a lot of things will be school specific based on what’s allowed and such but I just want to feel as prepared as possible.

I’ve already seen my classroom and the previous teacher didn’t leave much (pencil sharpener, graph paper and curriculum supplies).

The person I was given the number to contact (classroom neighbor) has recently taken a job somewhere else so now the only contacts I currently have are my principal and department chair.

(I worked for two years as an aide at a high school before getting this job)
