Hello everyone.

I have a 2001 BMW E46 M3. The car drove normally last night, but this morning it suddenly won’t start.

The ignition turns on and the dashboard lights come on normally, but the engine does not start. I tried disconnecting/reconnecting the battery and also tried using a jump starter, but it still doesn’t start.

I’m trying to figure out whether this is more likely to be the battery or some other issue.

I have attached a video of what happens when I turn the key.

Any advice on where to start diagnosing this?
