This map broke me
It's finally over. I think I am the unluckiest player to ever clear this map. I died at the final input of every room. And after getting to Flag 2 in "only" 11 hours, I thought "okay, this room will take another 5hrs and I'm done, pretty quick huh."
That thought was the biggest jinx EVER, OH MY GOD. I passed the room in 2 segments in just 2 hours, and then SOMEHOW got mindblocked at every single input... for another 6.5 hours. At the 9-hour mark, I couldn't even play; it was like I had never touched the game before. You know the "when we pay attention to our breathing, our brain doesn't want to breathe anymore" thing? Yeah, it's like that. I noticed how my hand moved, it shook like crazy, it hurt after 30 minutes, it was terrible. And my keyboard didn't register down and grab half of the time; I played so much I even broke my laptop.
Then I took a break. I played Cat Isle, Into the Jungle, Glyph, goldens... learned how to play the game again, ignored my hand. For the first time in weeks, I actually enjoyed playing Celeste (I even got 4BG, 5BG, fluked half of 3BG, 7AG, and 8AG, only 4 left).
Yesterday I returned, I plugged in another keyboard to fix the down button. I actually had fun playing Flag 2 again. And then I had another thought: "I got very far today, I will clear this room in this session." Big mistake. I should've stopped and gone to sleep, but I kept going. That was a 2.5-hour session. I died at the end 6 times. I did beat it, but my hand really hurts now. I was even dumber and tried the moonberry room right after.
Flag 2 took me 11hrs and 19mins, becoming the longest room I've ever cleared (last time was GMHS - Flag 4 with 8hrs, which was another mindblock).
Yeah, thank you Star Sapphire, this is an awesome map, I just jinxed myself and got so unlucky, and I guess I'm not that good at the game.
Remember to take breaks, everyone. Don't be like me; my hands and my laptop both died.

My 2nd year of celeste: Become a hardlist enjoyer
My post from last year: Celeste journey 1st year.
Another year has passed. Honestly, it’s unreal how fast the last 12 months went by. I managed to pass the entrance exam in June and have already spent one year at uni. Lots and lots of things have changed, lots of projects, lots of things to do, job, study, other hobbies… Therefore, I don’t have as much time to play this wonderful game as I did in my first year.
About this game… Do I even need to repeat it a million times? The best, most wholesome game I’ve ever played in my life. I don’t know many games, don’t play many games, and it's actually like fate that I found this game, this place with all these wholesome people. Everyone has their own mountain to climb, respects and cheers on every little thing people do… I just… I don't even have words for this, I’m so, so glad and proud to be a part of this community.
And for the tenth time, I think - Thank you for being cool.
Like last year, below is everything I did in the last 365 days. As I said before, I don’t have that much time like last year, especially from October to May (Yeah, 8 months), you’ll see most off the maps I beat is either, I did multiple long maps at the same time and took 4 months, or hard maps I did in short period of time when uni break.
This year, my total playtime is 556hrs 53min (not counting currently playing maps), on Steam is 850.5hrs (compared to last year is 480 hrs), died 205.992 times (last year was 226.525). So I played less and have less deathcount, but the deathcount/playtime ratio increase (well of course because of harder maps)
I also finally made a sheet for everything I did and want to do for this game, you can check it out!
June 29 (1 year anniversary) - August 1: GMHS clear and Strawberry Jam FC!!!!
This map is still my hardest to this day. After this clear, I officially entered the endless realm of all the other mods. I know I like to play hard stuff, so I started leaning toward the hardlist.
June 8 - Oct 10: Monika D-sides clear!!
I started playing through 1D - 8D as a break from GMHS and I cleared 8D on July 31. (How was it 1 day before I cleared Flag 1? Idk). And I played 9D on and off for another month.
Aug 14 - Dec 31: Kaleidoscope through the Art - Gallery Collab FC:
Again, while playing 9D, I got bored and grinded Gallery Collab, and although I was so busy in Nov, I tried my best and managed to clear the heartside on New Year’s Eve.
May 27, 2025 - Jan 4, 2026: Strawberry Jam Advanced Rainbow Berry:
My only notable and hardest golden achievement. (I also did 3AG and 5AG if u count that). This was so not for me that it took literally half a year, I can’t believe I did it.
