Simple relationship protection spell?
For context, my mother has always been extremely abusive towards me. Physically, emotionally, mentally. Well, just this year she apologized for her past behaviors towards me when I was a child and teenager and young adult. She says that she’s “changed” but I take that with a grain of salt. We had a good couple of days together recently and while she was opening up to me about her love life, I naively decided to share about my new relationship. I showed her a picture of my new boyfriend and she looked at the picture, and then me, with the face of absolute horror & disgust. She said “what do you find cute about him?” In the most disgusted manner, like she was absolutely repulsed. I don’t think he’s bad looking at all he’s cute to me :) she then told me he looks like the guy from ratatouille. He does kind of look Alfredo Linguini, but I find Alfredo Linguini to be quite cute :’) I told her that he treats me very well, we get along intellectually, we have vulnerable yet funny conversations, we share the same values, and well he treats me very well!
She said because he doesn’t have a car that he’s a big red flag 🚩 and that I shouldn’t get caught up in “fantasy”.
This crushed my spirit and my whole day. And I stopped talking to her. I mean, it’s a new relationship, it’s not like I was planning to marry him tomorrow. Also, I wasn’t asking her opinion, I just shared because she shared about her love life and I was trying to share my joy with her. Even if she believed him to not be good for me, she said it with such a judgmental tone, and attitude of snobbery towards me & him like she’s powerful and knows better than I.
I want to protect myself and this new relationship from her evil eye and any jealousy, ill will, or animosity she has towards us for whatever reason.
I lost my job a couple of weeks ago and just used all my savings to pay off my bills, so I currently don’t have any money to run to the store and buy candles or herbs or oils or anything like that.
I am a baby witch, so I don’t have much in my household. I have salt, one black candle, 🕯️ sage, rosemary , paper & a pen, eggs.. honey.. hopes and dreams 😭 that’s pretty much it… so fellow witches, any advice ?
