RYU ISHIGORI AS A STYLE

RYU ISHIGORI AS A STYLE

Yes yes before yall come storming in here saying hes not rly an official boxer and stuff like that hear me out. I worked on this for a bit and I feel like I did a good job. Id like you guys to review it. So have a read just this once...

Game name: Burnout

A slow starter with an insatiable appetite. Feed your momentum with heavy blows and overwhelm your opponent once you hit your stride. As your hunger grows, so does your speed, allowing you to become an unstoppable force in the ring.

Visual gimmick: the users hair constantly releases a steam trail

Type: Boxer-Puncher

Gimmick: glutton

His m1s start out medium-slow. Like hawk he has to work himself up. Every m2 he hits his m1 speed slightly increases.

Ability: Back strike/ushiro uchi (cant find a good name for this move.)

he user steps forward and throws a wide lead hook.

The impact catches the opponent's upper body, forcing them to rotate with the punch.

The user turns with the hook's follow-through, naturally turning their back toward the opponent as they rotate. The two briefly end up back-to-back.

The user then explosively drives their back and shoulder into the opponent's back, sending them forward.

Follow-up Mechanic — Pursuit M2

After successfully landing Backlash, Burnout gains a brief follow-up window.

M1: Burnout can dash normally and begin an M1 string.

M2: Burnout automatically lunges toward the opponent with his M2.

The M2 replaces the need to manually dash.

The lunge has enough range to catch the opponent after Backlash.

The ability helps him build his speed

M1s: average m1s. M1 speed starts off below-average and slowly works up with every hit m2 until they become above average speed. The devs know better which animations.

M2s: Burnout draws his right arm back and twists his entire upper body, briefly exposing his left side before violently driving forward with a massive right straight punch aimed at the gut.

The punch has a noticeable startup, but slightly increased forward reach and heavy impact.

Properties:

-obvious startup

-increased M2 range

-good M2 damage

-Grants 1 Glutton stack on hit

-Does not grant Glutton on block or whiff

-average on block

-always comes from the right side

Ultimate: Deadlock

Does self damage and plays the scene here yuta and ryu started throwing equal blows. The user gets hit and the camera flashes to their face. Then the target gets hit and the camera flashes to their face. Lowk the devs can take this anywhere. They are rly good at cinematics.

-Stats-

Damage: average-low

Movement speed: average

Defense: above average

Dash: bad
