My accord won’t go into drive
I bought this 98 accord the other day, it has the V6 VTEC with the 4 speed auto tranny. The engine works great but when I was driving it home after buying it I got about an hour and half into the 2 hour drive and my RPMS started to increase but MPHs were dropping slowly to the point where I stopped and couldn’t move even while in drive but it would shift to park just fine. I turned the car off and let it settle and cool off, after 5-6 minutes I fired it up and pulled off just fine but didn’t go over 45 or past 2nd-3rd gear.
Yesterday comes around and I put new atf and oil in it and went to go test drive it from my home and it went into reverse just fine but when I put it into drive still nothing, wouldn’t drive or anything kind of like it was in neutral but it wouldn’t roll
Is this an issue with the torque converter or what?
