Timeline

January 3rd, 2026- Submitted my application

February 10th, 2026- Interview

February 26th, 2026- Accepted tentative offer

March 16th, 2026- Drug testing

March 18th, 2026- Medical, fingerprints, and PT test

April 24th- Retake drug test

May 19th- Received the call

June 15th- EOD

Note: The Air Force sent me to a local urgent care for my drug testing in March and I was supposed to start my EOD in March. The local urgent care never send out my drug testing sample to the Air Force which pushed me back a few months. The Air Force contacted me and I had to retest the drug testing on base at the end of April.

I completed all the steps in the hiring process. I’m waiting on my final job offer. I know the Air Force goes through the VA Academy. How long is their academy and any tips on PT test or their written exams?
