MIY eating the liver of a townsperson in Julie’s flashback.
Wasn’t Smiley missing a liver when Boyd killed him and Cristy autopsied him? Is this a clue to how the monsters are created?

I don’t hear enough people talking about this. In S4E1 when Sophia is being pulled out of the crashed car, Jade walks up. He looks at her in a strange way, as if he angkooies her. The show makes a point to linger on his face.
Does Jade have a memory of her? Perhaps an unclear recollection from when he was Christopher or a previous incarnation?
This would give credit to the theory that Sophia was a real person from past Fromville.
In the past the showrunners have said the answers are at the beginning. This could mean the first episode, or the first cycle of people who sacrificed their kids, or both.
We've just been introduced to the lake of tears being real, which Ethan first introduced in the first episode. So I am going to assume that at least part of the answer is in the first episode.
In that episode, in the RV, Julie kills Ethan's little monster Norman with her little monster. But Tabitha says, and I quote: "There's no such things as monsters, honey, and IF there's no such things as monsters then that means that Norman is still alive, doesn't it?"
Her wording seems very intentional. She uses the word IF. Not SINCE, not WHEN. Instead of stating it's a fact that monsters aren't real, this implies that in one reality monsters are real, but in another they aren't.
In what reality would there be no monsters? It would be the reality where the original adults didn't sacrifice the children. So if someone stops the adults from sacrificing the children, then there are no monsters. And Julie is on track to storywalk to the beginning and make this happen. Then Norman lives. Who is Norman? Maybe Jim. Maybe Thomas. Maybe everyone.
I know it's not a new theory that Julie storywalks back in time and changes the sacrifice. But I think this detail proves that this is the most likely ending above all other theories.
