We rescued a pitbull mix who was found wandering the city. His ears were burned from an attempted cropping, leaving wide scars of bare skin. He was recently outside in the bright sun, and I noticed when we came in, the scars were hot pink. Is there a doggie sunblock or something we can put on the scars to help them not get burned by the sun? (Photo for reference, thanks in advance.)
