What was this?

I pricked my finger in a thorn gathering firewood one day and eventually my hurt something unreal the slightest air that hit it anything agonizing pain it finally swelled over the tip of my finger and the tip of my finger just eat away I could see the tip of my bone i just wrapped it and dealt with it
