With the Asus XG Mobile being out of production with no news on restocking at a ‘reasonable’ retail price I was looking into alternatives for a portable yet still quiet-ish solution. I was curious if any of you could share your experience or recommendation. Thanks in advance!
I found SGWZone on indiegogo and Fevm on Aliexpress and I was curious what users of these two devices felt about them.
- How easy is it to update the drivers? Does it take stock or do you need to side load?
- How is the noise? Is it loud when sitting ~3-4ft away on a desk?
- Are there any quirks/issues you’ve run into?
- Has it been reliable or have you run into issues with QC?
- Is there another portable eGPU that you would recommend that’s somewhat portable and easy to carry on a plane for travel?
