Lost some power and stamina. Advice?
So I've cut ~30 pounds since the beginning of the year, going from ~225 down to 196.6 today. Last week, I had a cold and wasn't able to really exercise, but this week when hitting the bag, I felt like I had noticeably less power and stamina during my workout.
Obviously, I expect there to be some decrease in power and stamina just because of the biomechanics involved here (e.g. less fat means less energy stores to draw from, less weight means less force (F=ma), etc.), but it's bugging me a bit. Does anyone have any good tips on ways to bring back some of my power and stamina? Right now, I'm doing heavy bag and cardio 3x/week and weight training 2x/week.
