On Friday 4/24 our supervisor told us in our morning crew meeting about his supervisor meeting. Online of course , the Superintendent, MM1 and MM2 and others were present. They said the brass is upset with workers in the field to the level of talking about getting rid of workers and getting contractors instead. He is a new supervisor telling us this. Myself I feel we are underfunded on parts and hands tied behind my back . Are they suggesting we bring our own materials? Use the truck or you’ll lose it , don’t use the pole truck for putting up poles, and other classic hit singles. Almost as if a loss of production was planned so they could attempt this . We’ve been sawing through supervisors because who wants that stress for 5% more but we’re also sawing through all of our CSR’s. Glue and toothpicks can do a lot when you are trying to keep busy .As always money for training in Sacramento is being wasted in favor of actual materials and tools . Oh , the monies! You guys hear anything about this?
