Sandy is a 3.5 years old gentle, affectionate greyhound with the sweetest, calm nature. He loves his routines, his comfy spots, and being close to his people. He has a quiet, kind presence and settles beautifully in the home. Sandy is wonderful with people of all ages — including children — and he warmly greets everyone he meets. He is also great with other dogs, including small dogs, and enjoys being around canine friends, so much so that we think he’d do best in a home with another canine companion. Sandy loves his toys and treats and really enjoys his walks. If you have a backyard big enough, he’ll happily show you his zoomies too — he is absolutely beautiful to watch when he runs. At mealtimes, Sandy is very polite and will quietly lie on his bed while you eat. Sandy does have a bit of anxiety when he’s left alone, so his foster family is slowly working on his alone training. He is on medication to help with his anxiety and the plan is to wean him off the medication once he’s settled in his forever home. Sandy is an easy dog to have around and would make a lovely companion for someone looking for a relaxed, loving greyhound to share their life with. Is he the boy for you?
