UPDATE: on new cement pad not level enough.

Ended up doing the 4x4 box with 3/4- pack to make it perfectly level. Cut the 4x4 to make the box level and filled and tamped. 2 5/8x4.5” lag bolts in each corner and used L brackets to secure the box to the pad. Thing is solid. Tub comes Friday…..

New cement pad not level enough

Looking for thoughts or suggestions. Wife won a hot tub over Christmas. Awesome yay, we have wanted one for a while. Got hydro upgraded and a new concrete back deck pored. Deck is going to have hot tub and a sitting spot with a fire pit. Issues now arose because the deck slopes away from the house for water drainage where we want to put the new hot tub. The tub is about 6.5’x6.5’ and the slope over that distance is about 2” away from the house. The pad we had poured is the first pic. And the tub is going to be located at the far end of pad close to the raised deck (stairs will go back right beside house). The second pic is of what I am thinking of building to level the area for the tub. Looking for input and thoughts about this, any constructive feedback is appreciated.
