Hello,
I had some questions about the mic settings in RB3D. I am using the RPCS3 emulator to run RB3D and am struggling to get the mic to function as needed. For a while, the mic was not reading inputs for past about 45% volume. This made overdrive and tambourine solos impossible as I could not input loudly enough, it seemed, to trigger these features. Today, as I was tinkering, I seemed to have resolved the issue, though I'm not sure how. Now, my sensitivity is too high, where the mic peaking* if I move it around while rocking out too hard or even from adjusting my grip. This is mostly fine, except it becomes really hard to control when overdrive triggers, as just about anything can set it off. Also, i notice the little 'birdie' appear from the drums being hit and even the guitars strumming. I've tried adjusting the volume from my system settings, but the game seemingly runs independent of this(?), as I cannot get this to affect my game. Is there a way to control the volume sensitivity in-game?
Also, Is there anyway to remove the 'karaoke' effect on the singer's voice in game? It sounds horrendous and it seems to come back with latency which really throws off the singer. I've tried calibrating the latency with the 'manual calibration "hit x on the sound" activity, but even still it feels distracting and out of place when all the other instruments sound clear. Can i just take away the awful echo?
Thanks for your help!
*When I say 'peaking', i mean on the input bar above my player slot. Honestly in game, the audio sounds stable when it comes back through the TV.
