So far so good. Minimal pain with some swelling around the incision area. From what I can remember, total surgery time was about 35 minutes. The size of the hernia was listed at 1.5 cm. I took a Motrin 200 mg and an oxy before bed last night and slept great. A little groggy this morning. I have no intentions of taking anything for pain today if I can help it. I may take one more oxy tonight before bed, but that will be it. I have been icing the area and will continue to do so today. The surgeon says I have a two week restriction on activities and then I can go back to doing whatever I want to do as long as I listen to my body. I plan to take a walk (1.5 mile) 1-2 today. I’ll update this thread if I have any issues or if I feel worse in the next few days.
