Meghan’s Hollywood “Failure” Looks Suspiciously Like Success

Extract:

The British tabloids have a favourite magic trick. They take something obviously successful, wave a headline over it, and – poof – it becomes a “disaster”. The Duchess of Sussex in Hollywood is one of their long-running illusions. According to them, her “Tinseltown dream is crumbling”, her projects are “snubbed”, and she’s apparently wandering around Los Angeles like a failed extra waiting for craft services to open.

But back in actual reality, Meghan is doing what most people in entertainment would call… thriving.

Meghan Sussex and the Quiet Art of Not Being Broken

Extract:

What makes Meghan’s story quietly heroic isn’t that she “escaped” the British press (I’m not sure she ever can completely escape it) but that she refused to let it define her. She refused to internalise its verdicts. She refused to perform gratitude for its cruelty and she refused to stay inside a narrative designed to break her. That refusal isn’t often framed as courage, but it is. Especially for Black women, who are so frequently expected to endure harm with silence, and a smile.

Harry’s Heart in Botswana, Archie and Lili’s Colours in the Wild

Extract:

"Botswana is a place that has threaded itself through Prince Harry’s life for decades. It’s where he first found a sense of calm after losing his mother, where he has returned again and again to breathe, to work, to reconnect with something steady and grounding. It’s where he took Meghan early in their relationship, choosing the Okavango’s vastness as the backdrop for something tender and new. Botswana has always been a place where Harry’s life feels like his own.

So when Elephants Without Borders announced that two elephants had been fitted with satellite‑tracking collars funded by the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund, specifically from the portion allocated to the Duke of Sussex, it felt like a continuation. A thread running from Diana to Harry to his children, woven through a landscape that has given him refuge and purpose."

The Mail Doesn’t Always Need to Lie About Meghan

Extract: The Mail does not always need to tell us that Meghan has done something terrible. It can simply place her name next to something terrible and allow us to make the connection ourselves.

The Telegraph’s Latest Sussex Spin Falls Flat

Extract: Critics, of course, liked it, which is … inconvenient. So the Telegraph simply pretends they don’t exist.

It’s the same pattern we’ve seen for years: if the Sussexes do something, it must be framed as failure, even when the evidence contradicts it.

Kate Is Always Asked to Fix William and Harry’s Relationship. What About Her Relationship With Pippa?

Extract:

Every other week, we seem to get another story about Kate Middleton supposedly trying to repair the relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry, as though she has somehow become the royal family’s resident expert in reconciliation. Yet the press rarely applies that same curiosity to Kate’s own relationships, particularly her apparent distance from her sister, Pippa Middleton.

Pippa was notably absent from Kate’s recent Christmas carol event and, perhaps even more strikingly, did not appear during Kate’s Three Peaks Challenge. Kate completed the National Three Peaks Challenge in late June, with her brother James Middleton also taking part and supporting her along the route. At the finish, she was greeted by William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, Carole and Michael Middleton, as well as James.

Given how prominently other members of the Middleton family appeared, Pippa’s absence has led some royal watchers to question whether the sisters are still as close as they once seemed.

The Queen’s £2m That Was Supposed to Help Epstein Survivors

Extract:

The latest development in the Jeffrey Epstein story isn’t another famous name in the files. It’s not another photograph, email or revelation about Prince Andrew.

It’s money.

More precisely, it’s the reported £2 million that was intended to help survivors of sexual abuse and trafficking. Money connected to the settlement between Virginia Giuffre and (ex) Prince Andrew in 2022.

No, Princess Anne Didn't Refuse Royal Titles For Her Kids

Link to article: https://unpacked4.wordpress.com/2026/08/09/no-princess-anne-didnt-refuse-royal-titles-for-her-kids/

Extract: It’s a nice story, but there’s one glaring problem with it. It’s not how the rules worked.

Princess Anne’s children, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall, were never entitled to be Prince or Princess in the first place. The rules governing royal titles were based on the male line.

Crowning Hypocrisy: The British Press vs Meghan’s Birthday Tiara

When it was Kate it was “heartwarming,” “adorable,” and “a touching moment.” It’s only when the mixed-heritage American woman dons a toy tiara that it becomes “inappropriate” and “mocking.”

Holding On to Harry and Meghan’s Humanity

Link to article: https://unpacked4.wordpress.com/2026/08/05/holding-on-to-harry-and-meghans-humanity/

Extract:

When a person is shown again and again through a negative frame, audiences start to see them that way automatically. Meghan has been framed as a problem, a threat, a villain. Not because the facts support it, but because repetition is powerful. Over time, this kind of framing leads to dehumanisation, where the person stops being seen as a real human being with feelings, hopes, and a life, and instead becomes a symbol used to sell stories.

Positive articles don’t need to challenge the press directly to break this pattern. Their strength is quieter. They show Harry and Meghan doing normal things: working, helping, laughing, building, creating, loving. They remind readers that the couple are real people, not merely characters in a tabloid soap opera. Every positive story interrupts the dehumanising frame, giving readers a chance to see the couple with fresh eyes instead of through the same old negative lens.

Only one Windsor man was worthy of his wife's courage

Link to article: https://unpacked4.wordpress.com/2026/07/31/diana-took-charles-on-meghan-took-harry-on-only-one-man-rose-to-meet-that-courage/

Extract: Throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, Charles’s office routinely fed negative stories about Diana to journalists. This was documented by reporters at the time and later confirmed by royal biographers.

Meghan walked into the same institution Diana had walked into. An institution that hadn’t changed, only modernised its methods. The palace briefings began within months of her marriage.

But this time, the attacks weren’t orchestrated by Meghan’s husband. Harry didn’t stand by while his wife was vilified. He didn’t hide behind her. He didn’t use her as a shield and he didn’t allow the institution to destroy her to protect him.

He fought back.

Camilla’s “Gift” to Children Is From Everyone But Camilla

https://preview.redd.it/dvqldaa6fkgh1.png?width=525&format=png&auto=webp&s=ca90653531927fb57788e5307a58c4ee60e59f0c

Extract: The royal PR machine has again unwrapped one of its most reliable illusions: generous royal bestows kindness on the hoi polloi. This time, the public is invited to imagine Camilla, the King’s squeeze, lovingly selecting book titles, paying for them out of her own purse, and dispatching them to children at Christmas like some aristocratic Santa.

Except … the “gift” – a free book to every child in Year 6 – isn’t from her. At all.
