I'm on a mission to get my partner a skateboard but we're both broke/pretty fresh off the streets. They're in sober living, going to IOP, and putting their all into building a better life. Having a skateboard would not only provide ease of transit without having to wait on busses for everything but also be a really good outlet for exercise which is a proven tool to help with folks in recovery. I know they can accomplish everything they're trying to do if they have some basic things that improve quality of life and give fulfillment.

Another item that would be very much appreciated if someone happens to have an old or extra laptop laying around bc they really like playing video games n it's a good respite from the stress of life especially for someone trying to not use or drink. They also really enjoy making digital art which would be another helpful outlet.

And lastly, if anyone has a washboard laying around so they can get back into playing n we can play music together.

Free rat hammocks n stuff

Hey my roommate had rats that passed away a year ago but she continued getting monthly subscription boxes w new supplies.

I have several brand new lil rat canopies n hammocks etc.

The plan has been to donate them to rat rescue but I'm injured and can't drive rn and this big bag is taking up space in our tiny apt.

Would absolutely love if someone is willing to take the whole bag but maybe donate some of the stuff to a rat rescue as well ? Or share w other low income folks idk it's just a lot of stuff n feel like it would be nice to share the love.

I'm going to draw someone from the raffle today at 6 pm.

I really like the raffles bc it gives ppl who are busier a chance to get stuff too. That being said, last time I did a raffle the first 2 people who won weren't messaging me back and it took like 3 days to get someone to pick up so.... Hey y'all, on my quest to stay sane living inside and sober I've become a Plant Guy™. Starting a new job first weekend of June n all my savings is going to car repairs so I can reliably get to said job.

Plants I'm looking to re-pot are zebra plant (tropical plant) and a few succulents.

Need: Tropical plant soil, succulent soil, compatible fertilizers, and diatomaceous earth to keep these fkn ants out of my plants.
