A very sombre annual event where wreaths are placed. The protocol on this day is well known. Dignitaries walk up, place the wreath, take a few steps backwards, bow their head for a moment then turn and walk away. You never ever turn, walk away then turn back and nod. It's seen as very disrespectful to do this.
Catherine placed the wreath, immediately turned and walked away and then turned and bowed her head. No one has said anything! If it was Meghan the media would be screeching about her breaching protocol.
