Predaking is merely a newborn, and that is TERRIFYING on an evolutionary potential scale!!!
Let’s use Optimus Prime as a benchmark: before becoming a soldier or gaining any kind of battlefield experience, he was Orion Pax, a mere young and completely inexperienced Cybertronian who was, at most, a few hundred years old. But he became Optimus Prime through the Matrix of Leadership, and although this gave him many physical as well as mental advantages... he still needed to gain a tremendous amount of experience throughout the war to become what we see in the first and second seasons of the series: a Cybertronian experienced in virtually every category, who understands his capabilities and limitations and is an exceptional fighter. Without experience or the proper mindset, he would not be much different from when he lost his memory and was under the Decepticons’ possession, being easily dominated by Megatron to an extreme degree with virtually no difficulty. It is remarkable how vital combat experience and mentality are when, despite having the exact same physical power, once his memories returned, he quickly overpowered Megatron. This proves that a knowledgeable mindset and combat experience can completely change the outcome of a fight, because through this example, it is very clear that having the body alone is not enough, because without the proper mind... But what does any of this have to do with Predaking?
Simple... Everything we saw from him in the series, his fights and feats, when placed on an evolutionary potential scale based on Optimus... is merely the equivalent of Orion Pax.
Predaking, being a newborn, simply managed to defeat Optimus 2.0 despite being far lower on his own evolutionary potential scale. Not only that, but he also managed to give Unicron, who was possessing Megatron’s body, a hard time in a fight... And again, using the scale of his own evolutionary potential, this is the equivalent of a newborn managing to give a demigod a hard time in a fight!!!
The fight against Optimus is particularly important in this context. Predaking does not merely manage to fight Optimus 2.0; he is physically capable of imposing his presence against an extremely experienced and enhanced Optimus. And this happens while Predaking is still discovering his own body, learning its movements, and developing his intelligence.
It is almost like putting a genetically monstrous young athlete who has never formally trained in any way against a war veteran in his prime with extreme military training. The veteran possesses superior technique, but the other has such an ABSURD physical platform that he can compensate for an enormous amount of technical difference.
Theoretical Part 1: How powerful would Predaking be with thousands of years of experience?
Here, we’ll call him Old Predaking. In this scenario, he would be the equivalent of a Kaon gladiator as well as an experienced soldier who had received military training according to Cybertronian standards.
Simply through this combat experience and thousands of years to develop mentally, we could see a difference equivalent to, or even, in my opinion, greater than what we saw in the previous example with the video, except this time replacing Optimus with Predaking and Megatron with Megatron 2.0 possessed by Unicron.
Optimus was being massacred by Megatron, whereas Predaking was putting up a respectable fight against possessed Megatron 2.0, even though both scenarios involve an equivalent difference between Optimus and Predaking relative to Megatron in terms of combat experience and youthful mentality.
So it would not be an exaggeration to say that Old Predaking would be absolutely destroying possessed Megatron with relative ease, especially because this time he would not be fighting empty-handed. He would probably have already learned how to summon and use the Infernum Blade, the same sword that, with a single strike, is capable of completely draining an opponent’s Energon, rapidly causing them to collapse or shut down entirely.
Not to mention that, as stated earlier, just as we saw combat experience allow Optimus to use his body much more effectively and visibly amplify his attacks, Predaking would also possess the knowledge necessary to use his body much more efficiently. He would be able to amplify his strikes to a level he never demonstrated in the series, while also knowing exactly WHERE to strike for maximum damage, rather than simply being a brute who hits his opponent with the greatest amount of force he can muster.
Old Predaking could easily become a threat powerful enough to force the original Primes to intervene in some way.
Theoretical Part 2: Body Upgrade
It would only be fair to give Old Predaking an upgraded version of his own body, essentially his own 2.0 form, just like Optimus and Megatron.
If, after thousands of years of experience, you also give him a transformation equivalent to the leap Optimus and Megatron experienced when they obtained their later, enhanced forms, then we are no longer simply talking about a more experienced Predaking.
We are talking about:
Above-average Predacon body + mental maturity + thousands of years of experience + military training + experience against extremely powerful opponents + complete mastery of his capabilities + Infernum Blade + an extreme, artificial, unnatural enhancement of his own body.
At this point, there is no denying it... the comparison with Optimus 2.0 and Megatron 2.0 begins to lose its usefulness. Because Optimus and Megatron possess extremely powerful bodies, but Predaking starts from a completely different physical architecture.
It is as if his evolution were beginning from a level that conventional Cybertronians simply cannot reproduce by adding experience alone...
In this theoretical scenario, he already started from the level of an above-average Cybertronian who was a gladiator and who received the powers of and was possessed by a god, while another Cybertronian received the blessing and a divine artifact from a god and underwent a monstrous artificial enhancement of his body...
Predaking, in his natural and initial state, already starts from that level...
Take all of Old Predaking’s power and increase it to an absolutely absurd degree with his own 2.0 form...
The power escalation would be ridiculously high.
Optimus 2.0 and Megatron 2.0 would not be able to stand against Old Predaking 2.0 even together. At this evolutionary stage, the original Primes themselves would have to intervene if Predaking lost control and declared war on Cybertron alongside an army of properly trained Predacons.
Because we have to admit that even a trained squad of conventional Cybertronian soldiers cannot defeat a single properly trained conventional Predacon soldier, considering that the greatest Autobot general was nearly killed by a Predacon who was physically inferior to conventional Predaking and less experienced than Predaking himself.
Something on this scale would certainly require the intervention of the original Primes...
Because this would not simply be a war.
It would be a cataclysm-level event.
