Bird nest in glass front door
Hello everyone, I have very little knowledge of birds, but I believe this this a common sparrow nest, there were 5 eggs in the nest but one egg looked very different so I was wondering if it was a cuckoo egg? that has now hatched.
I have been trying to use the front door as little as possible now to give the bird nest some space so I dont have too many great photos.
If anyone knows based on the eggs of what type of bird the nest belongs to and if the baby bird is a different type of bird that would be great. ( I'm going to let nature takes it course either way but I am just curious) I live in Iowa and my best guess is the bird is a common sparrow.
