Would love to hear people’s opinions on SMA’s. Love them or hate them? Does it make sense to go active over passive ETF on a specific index? This year it seems like a lot of SMA’s are underperforming their respective benchmarks due to “junk” stocks rallying. Wouldn’t that be the case to own passive ETF’s?

Edit: junk stocks means unprofitable companies an active manager wouldn’t put in a portfolio….
