Redesign this bathroom
Anyone want to take a crack at redesigning this bathroom? It is an older home, circa 1890, so I'm not entirely sure what is in the walls. The bedrooms are original; the bathroom section is a later addition. Not sure why the wall between the two bathrooms is shown as thickened; there is no wall underneath, and no plumbing directly underneath. There is a 1/2 bath on the first floor below the smaller bathroom.
I would like to add a larger walk-in tiled shower. Ideally moving as little plumbing as possible. Ideally the clawfoot bathtub would stay. I would be fine reducing to a single bathroom on this floor. The only consideration would be resale value. The home is technically 4 bedroom, and currently 2.5 bathroom. I would also consider relocating the laundry, as a last resort.
