Public transport harrassment ignorance
Today I rode tram to city centre and I was a witness of harrassment when one older guy harrassed two little girls (about 10 y.o.). I refused to just sit and watch, so I decided to act. I simply asked those girls if they were OK, they said NO, so I told that asshole to take a hike. He had a friend in the back of a tram. His friend began to threaten me that he's gonna beat me and stuff.
So what happened was that I almost got into a fight in a tram full of people. Everybody looking at me and too scared to help me and the girls. To be fair, i'm not a guy to pick fights, so I would more than welcome if other people intervened so it was at least a fair fight. But no one came to help.
Can I please ask all of you here to not be indifferent to stuff like this and help other people in need? What if it was your daughter or sister?
TLDR: please watch your surroundings in public transport and do not be indifferent to harrassment, even asking somebody helps! call the police if needed
Edit: To be clear, i'm not looking for appraisal. I'm not even sure if i handled it correctly. I'm just asking you people to not be indifferent to this stuff. It just seemed like nobody else cared.
