Need help housing current setup and any improvements
Hello, I recently moved into a new condo and set myself on a home networking journey. I’m trying to do most of this myself and am somewhat new to this. I’ve done very basic network management for my parents growing up but now I’m trying to make my system more robust. Currently I have a UniFi cloud gateway ultra that’s connected to my ISP router in bridge mode. From there the ultra is connected to a tp link dumb switch. Then I have 3 Ethernet wires run throughout the house, 1 to the third, the 2nd and 1st floor. On the third floor is a u6 AP which is powered through a POE injector on the first floor at the dumb switch. Everything is super ugly and messy right now so I’m looking for advice on how to clean this up as well as further improve the system.
